BALINEWSID.COM, SINGARAJA — The Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration continued strengthening its collaboration with the media through a Coffee Morning Road Show held with journalists on Tuesday (May 12, 2026).
The event was part of a series of road shows previously conducted at the Class I Special Immigration Office TPI Ngurah Rai on Wednesday (May 6, 2026). The program was designed as an interactive discussion forum between Bali Immigration officials and journalists to disseminate the latest immigration policies while also gathering public aspirations through the media.
Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Felucia Sengky Ratna, said the media plays a strategic role in maintaining the institution’s reputation and delivering accurate information to the public.

“Through this Coffee Morning with media colleagues, we want to build more open and flexible communication. The media has a crucial role as a bridge of information between Immigration and the public. We want to ensure that every achievement, innovation, and even service challenge we face can be conveyed objectively and proportionally,” Felucia said during the meeting with journalists in Singaraja.
She added that each region in Bali has different news dynamics, requiring communication approaches tailored to local characteristics.
“If in Ngurah Rai media attention is often focused on international crossings, in Singaraja we discuss more about the supervision of foreigners across the vast North Bali region. Casual discussions over coffee like this are very effective in aligning perceptions and strengthening our public relations function in the regions,” she added.
During the gathering, Singaraja Immigration officials and local journalists discussed several issues, ranging from easier passport services for residents to preventive measures in monitoring foreigners to maintain public order in North Bali.
The Coffee Morning Road Show is scheduled to continue across all Immigration Offices and Immigration Detention Houses under the Bali Regional Immigration Office. Through the initiative, Bali Immigration hopes to further strengthen synergy with the media in creating a positive information climate and supporting development across Bali Province.
