Denpasar Immigration Opens Passport Service at Bali Expo 2026, 200 Slots Fully Booked Instantly

BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR — The Class I Immigration Office with TPI Denpasar opened an on-site passport service during the 16th Bali Indonesia Tourism & Trade Investment Expo 2026, with all 200 application slots immediately taken after registration opened.

The service was launched as part of the public service commitment themed “Immigration for the People” and is being held at Trans Studio Mall Bali for four days from April 23 to April 26, 2026.

The expo was officially opened on Thursday (April 23) by a representative of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, namely the Head of Tourism Marketing Division. The event was also attended by the Head of the Denpasar Immigration Office and representatives from several related institutions.

The passport service is a collaboration between the Directorate General of Immigration and the Denpasar Immigration Office. A total quota of 200 passport applications was provided throughout the expo.

Public enthusiasm was reported to be very high, with all available slots booked shortly after registration was opened through the M-Paspor application.

The presence of the passport service at the exhibition is intended to make it easier for the public to process travel documents. Business actors, tourists, and the general public can access the service without having to visit the immigration office on working days.

Head of the Class I Immigration Office with TPI Denpasar, R. Haryo Sakti, said the people of Bali have high mobility, particularly in the tourism and investment sectors.

“Therefore, we are presenting this service so that the passport application process becomes faster and more practical. This is also in line with the commitment of Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko, namely Immigration for the People,” he said.
