BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR — The Denpasar Immigration Office is investigating the viral expulsion of three foreign nationals (WNA) from a fitness center in Sukawati, Gianyar, Bali.

Officials from the Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement Section of the Class I TPI Denpasar Immigration Office conducted immigration data checks and visited A Fitness in Sukawati on Wednesday (August 19, 2026), following reports of the incident circulating on social media.

Based on preliminary findings at the location, the incident took place on Sunday (August 16, 2026), at around 7 p.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA). Immigration officers are investigating the circumstances and background of the incident.

Head of the Class I TPI Denpasar Immigration Office, R. Haryo Sakti, said officers had identified two of the three foreign nationals mentioned in the viral report.

The two individuals were identified by their initials as IB, 23, born in Israel and holding a Bulgarian passport, and YBH, 22, also born in Israel and holding a Romanian passport.

Both individuals entered Indonesia through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on August 3, 2026, on flight EY 478. IB entered Indonesia using a Visa on Arrival, while YBH entered using a Visit Visa.

Immigration officials are also investigating information concerning the owner of A Fitness, who was reportedly involved in the expulsion of the three foreign nationals.

The fitness center owner and the two identified foreign nationals will be summoned for questioning to establish the chronology and circumstances surrounding the incident.

As part of the monitoring and investigation process, IB and YBH have been placed on the Immigration Search List (SOI).

The Denpasar Immigration Office said any determination regarding possible immigration violations and any subsequent immigration action will be based on the findings of the investigation and applicable laws and regulations.

The office has urged members of the public who have information about the whereabouts or activities of foreign nationals suspected of violating immigration regulations within its jurisdiction to report them through the official WhatsApp complaint channel at +62 812-4618-3838.

All information received will be followed up in accordance with the authority of the Immigration Office and prevailing immigration regulations.
