Bali Immigration Chief Wins 2026 Accelerator of Progress Award

BALINEWSID.COM, BADUNG – Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Felucia Sengky Ratna, has been honored with the prestigious Accelerator of Progress Figure Award at the 2026 Bali-Nusa Tenggara Innovation and Contribution Awards (detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026). The award ceremony was held at the Grand Ballroom of The Trans Resort Bali in Badung on Friday (July 3).

Felucia received the award in the Pioneer of Collaborative Supervision for Quality Bali Tourism category, recognizing her leadership and commitment to strengthening immigration oversight through cross-sector collaboration to support a safer and higher-quality tourism industry in Bali.

The award acknowledges Felucia’s responsive leadership in maintaining immigration security, public order, and legal compliance across the Island of the Gods. Under her leadership, the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration has consistently acted swiftly against immigration violations while promoting preventive measures through strategic partnerships.

One of the office’s flagship initiatives is the establishment of the Dharma Dewata Task Force, a special unit that regularly conducts patrols in areas with high concentrations of foreign nationals. The task force plays a key role in monitoring immigration compliance while helping preserve Bali’s reputation as a safe and orderly international tourist destination.

“The establishment of the Dharma Dewata Task Force reflects our strong commitment to ensuring Bali remains a safe, comfortable, and orderly international destination. Through collaboration among government agencies and active community participation, we are strengthening immigration supervision by combining law enforcement with sustainable preventive measures,” Felucia said after receiving the award.

The recognition is considered even more prestigious as Felucia shared the Accelerator of Progress Figure Award category with several national leaders and cabinet ministers.

Their inclusion among the award recipients highlights that the collaborative initiatives introduced by Bali Immigration are regarded as being on par with strategic national development programs.

To support the realization of a sustainable and high-quality tourism ecosystem, the Bali Immigration Regional Office continues to strengthen cooperation with local governments, law enforcement agencies, tourism industry stakeholders, and local communities.

This multi-sector collaboration is considered essential for detecting potential issues involving foreign visitors at an early stage and ensuring rapid and effective responses to immigration-related challenges.

Through these initiatives, Bali Immigration has expanded its role beyond managing the entry and exit of foreign nationals. The institution has evolved into a frontline agency supporting good governance, public security, and the development of a world-class tourism destination.

The award further reinforces the Directorate General of Immigration Bali’s commitment to delivering collaborative, innovative, and proactive immigration services while safeguarding Bali’s position as one of the world’s leading tourism destinations.
