BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR — The Public Relations Division of the Bali Regional Police (Bidhumas Polda Bali) held a blood donation drive at Bali Police Headquarters on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, ahead of the 75th anniversary of the Indonesian National Police’s Public Relations Division. The initiative was attended by dozens of police personnel as part of efforts to support blood supplies for people in need.
Bali Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General I Made Astawa attended the event alongside several senior officials from the Bali Regional Police.
Bali Police Public Relations Chief Senior Commissioner Ariasandy said the blood donation drive was not merely a celebration of the anniversary but also a practical expression of the police force’s commitment to serving the community.
“Through this blood donation drive, we want to ensure that the presence of Polri Public Relations, as it marks its 75th anniversary, continues to bring positive benefits to the community. One way is by helping maintain Bali’s blood supply for humanitarian purposes,” Ariasandy said.
Before donating blood, participating officers underwent preliminary medical screening conducted by a medical team. The examinations included blood pressure measurements and hemoglobin (Hb) level checks to determine whether they were medically eligible to donate.
The blood collected during the event was subsequently handed over to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) for distribution to hospitals and members of the public requiring medical assistance.
Bidhumas Polda Bali said the initiative was expected to help maintain adequate blood supplies while strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation and social responsibility within the community.
The blood donation drive also reflected the division’s commitment to organizing activities that provide tangible benefits to the public as part of the 75th anniversary of the Indonesian National Police’s Public Relations Division.
