BALINEWSID.COM, TABANAN – The Bali Regional Executive Board of the Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) held a political roadshow and consolidation meeting with the Tabanan branch leadership and all district-level party structures across Tabanan Regency on Saturday (May 23, 2026).
The event, held at the PSI Tabanan Secretariat on Jalan Pantai Nyanyi, Braban Village, Kediri District, was attended by Bali PSI Regional Chairperson Wayan Suyasa, Tabanan PSI Chairperson Made Edi Wirawan, all PSI district executives in Tabanan, and Bali Provincial Legislator from PSI Grace Anastasia Surya W.
PSI Bali Chairperson Wayan Suyasa said the roadshow was not merely a routine political agenda, but part of the party’s broader strategy to strengthen communication and coordination among all party structures while reinforcing grassroots consolidation across Bali.
“This is an effort to get closer to one another, to speak heart-to-heart among PSI branches in regencies and cities, so we can unite our command and ensure PSI Tabanan moves quickly and stays focused on concrete work for the people,” Suyasa said.
He explained that Tabanan was the fourth region visited in PSI Bali’s consolidation roadshow after previous visits to Badung and Denpasar. According to him, strong unity from the provincial level down to subdistrict branches is essential to ensure party programs can directly benefit local communities.
Suyasa also praised the leadership of Made Edi Wirawan, whom he believes can help PSI Tabanan grow into a stronger political force in the future.
“Tabanan is a seedbed for PSI, and we must develop it collectively together. Criticism should become motivation. PSI is like a beautiful young woman who attracts attention, and under Edi Wirawan’s leadership, Tabanan is believed to have great potential to achieve more,” he said.
He added that PSI’s political growth in Tabanan has shown a positive trend and could potentially make the regency one of the party’s strongest electoral bases in Bali.
Meanwhile, Tabanan PSI Chairperson Made Edi Wirawan stressed that politics must deliver prosperity and social harmony to the people. He emphasized that constructive politics does not necessarily require large financial resources, but rather real solutions for society.
“Constructive politics does not require huge amounts of money. What people truly need are solutions in education, healthcare, and decent living standards. That is PSI’s motivation,” said Edi Wirawan, a three-term member of the Tabanan Regional Legislative Council and former Deputy Regent of Tabanan for the 2019–2024 period.
Edi Wirawan also reaffirmed PSI’s commitment as a party that stands with ordinary people. With organizational structures spread across all 10 districts in Tabanan Regency, he called on all cadres to maintain solidarity and the spirit of mutual cooperation in strengthening the party.
“Be statesmen, not merely politicians. Build PSI with the spirit of gotong royong. The spirit of Gajah Sena born in Tabanan must become a symbol of total dedication among cadres in building PSI Bali,” he stated.
During the event, PSI Tabanan also announced preparations for its Regional Working Meeting (Rakerda), scheduled for August 2026. The meeting is expected to become an important momentum for strengthening PSI consolidation throughout Bali.
The consolidation concluded with a joint commitment from all cadres to strengthen the party internally, expand public support, and maintain PSI’s identity as an open, anti-corruption political party that consistently defends the interests of ordinary citizens.
