Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Distributes Qurban Animals Across Bali and Lombok for Eid al-Adha

BALINEWSID.COM, BADUNG – Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel marked the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah on May 27, 2026, by distributing qurban animals as part of its social responsibility and commitment to local communities in Bali and Lombok.

The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Artha Graha Peduli Bali, which assisted in the distribution process to communities in need.

This year, the hotel donated a total of two cows and three goats to several mosques, prayer houses, and Islamic boarding schools. The distribution included one cow to Pondok Pesantren Qamarul Huda in Lombok, one cow to Masjid Al-Amin, one goat to Masjid Nurhasanah, one goat to Mushola Minhajul Athfal, and one goat to Mushola Al Muhajirin.

The activity is part of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel’s Corporate Social Safety Responsibility (CSSR) program, which is regularly conducted to strengthen ties with local communities while promoting the values of solidarity and social care.

General Manager of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Luis Daniel Garcia, said Eid al-Adha serves as an important moment to share blessings and foster harmonious relationships with surrounding communities.

“Eid al-Adha teaches the values of sincerity, compassion, and togetherness. Through this qurban initiative, we hope to provide meaningful benefits to the community and strengthen the good relationship between Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel and communities in Bali and Lombok,” said Garcia.

Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel hopes the program will continue to create a positive impact and become part of the company’s sustainable contribution to the social environment surrounding the hotel, together with the support and collaboration of Artha Graha Peduli Bali.
