BALINEWSID.COM, TABANAN — The Bali Regional Office of Perum Bulog is accelerating the distribution of government rice assistance allocated for July, August, and September 2026 in Tabanan Regency.

As of Thursday, September 10, around 90 percent of the assistance in Tabanan had been distributed, reaching 33,595 of the 37,097 designated food aid recipients (PBP). This leaves approximately 3,502 recipients still awaiting the assistance.

The distribution was carried out in several areas, including Candikuning, Batunya, and Angseri villages in Baturiti District. The distribution activities were also attended by Indonesian House of Representatives Commission IV member I Nyoman Adi Wiryatama.

Each recipient is entitled to 10 kilograms of rice for each monthly allocation. Therefore, recipients receiving assistance for July, August, and September will receive a total of 30 kilograms of rice.

Across Bali, the government rice assistance program covers 302,397 recipients, with a total of 9,071,910 kilograms of rice allocated for distribution.

Head of the Bali Regional Office of Perum Bulog, Simon Melkisedek Lakapu, said the agency was committed to ensuring that the assistance reached the right recipients, in the right quantities and on time.

“Bulog is committed to ensuring that this food assistance is distributed to the right recipients, in the right quantities and on time. We are also continuing to coordinate with local governments down to the village level so that the distribution process runs smoothly and all food aid recipients receive their entitlements,” Simon said.

He added that coordination with local governments and village administrations would continue as part of efforts to accelerate distribution to recipients who had yet to receive the assistance.

Meanwhile, I Nyoman Adi Wiryatama expressed his appreciation for the government’s continued implementation of the food assistance program through Bulog.

The rice assistance is expected to provide direct benefits to households by helping meet their basic food needs and reducing household spending on food.

Bulog’s Bali Regional Office also reported that government rice reserves, or Cadangan Beras Pemerintah (CBP), stood at 7,349 tons as of September 10, 2026.

Bulog said it would continue to accelerate the distribution of the assistance until all designated recipients across Bali receive their allocations in accordance with the program’s provisions.
