BADUNG, BALINEWSID.COM – The Indonesian Association of Travel Agents (ASITA) Bali continues to strengthen the tourism industry network through a B2B Table Top event packaged under the concept of Friday Networking. The event was held at Atlas Beach Club, Badung, on Friday (February 6, 2026), offering a relaxed semi-outdoor atmosphere while maintaining a professional business setting.
Chairman of ASITA Bali Chapter (DPD ASITA Bali), I Putu Winastra, said the venue was deliberately chosen to create a more fluid and less rigid business environment. According to him, the activity serves as a strategic platform for tourism industry players to meet, exchange ideas, and open up new collaboration opportunities.
“Today, ASITA Bali held a B2B Table Top packaged as Friday Networking. We chose Atlas Beach Club so the atmosphere wouldn’t feel stiff, as it’s conducted in a semi-outdoor setting,” Winastra explained.
He noted that participants were not only ASITA Bali members but also included Event Organizers (EO) and Wedding Organizers (WO) from Bali and outside the island. On the seller side, ASITA Bali invited tourism businesses from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and other regions beyond Bali.
“We are quite pleased because the target number of sellers was achieved and even exceeded. The number of buyers who attended was also more than 60 people,” he added.
Winastra emphasized that B2B Networking is an annual program of ASITA Bali. Going forward, the association plans to introduce more innovative concepts, including the possibility of hosting B2B Networking events aboard a cruise ship.
“This is our effort to present something different for the tourism industry. It doesn’t only involve accommodation, but also tourist attractions, tourism villages, cultural attractions, and restaurants. This is truly extraordinary for the future exposure of Bali tourism,” he said.
Meanwhile, Chairwoman of the ASITA Bali Table Top Organizing Committee, Erna, who oversees the domestic sector, stated that the event ran smoothly and received high enthusiasm from buyers. From an initial target of 60 buyers, the event successfully attracted 68 buyers, with a total of 25 sellers participating.

“Thank God the event went smoothly. Buyer enthusiasm exceeded expectations. From the planned 60 buyers, 68 people attended,” Erna said.
She explained that preparations were carried out over two weeks, with the seller recruitment process intensively conducted within one week. For buyers, ASITA Bali implemented a screening system to ensure alignment with each seller’s target market.
“We don’t invite buyers randomly. We match them with the sellers’ market needs. For example, if a seller needs guests from a specific country, we invite buyers who actually have that market. Besides ASITA members, we also invite EO and WO,” she emphasized.
One of the participants, Wisnu Arimbawa from Gede Tour Indonesia, expressed high appreciation for the event. He assessed that Friday Networking initiated by ASITA Bali plays an important role in strengthening relationships among tourism industry players in Bali.
“Today’s event is extraordinary. My highest appreciation goes to ASITA Bali, especially the organizing committee that held this Friday Networking. Activities like this are very important to strengthen relationships within Bali’s tourism industry,” Wisnu said.
He hopes similar events can be held regularly, ideally at least twice a year, as a platform for refreshment while opening new partnership and networking opportunities.
“It would be great in the future to present more diverse sellers and more selective buyers, so market compatibility can truly be achieved. The hope is that sellers get the right buyers, and buyers also find suitable partners,” he added.
Another seller participant, Puspa Rianti, also conveyed her appreciation for the well-organized and professional execution of the event. She noted that ASITA Bali’s Friday Networking not only opened business opportunities but also facilitated productive and meaningful discussions between sellers and buyers.
“Thank you to ASITA for organizing this event so well. The entire series of activities ran smoothly, discussions with buyers were productive, and the program arranged by the committee even exceeded expectations,” Puspa said.
She also expressed her interest in continuing communication and cooperation with buyer partners in the future, and hopes to meet again at upcoming ASITA agendas. (*)
