In addition to local development programs, ASITA Bali highlighted the upcoming Bali and Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF), scheduled for May 28–30. The BBTF is recognized as Indonesia’s largest international tourism promotion event, attracting global buyers and industry players.

Meanwhile, Head of the Tabanan Tourism Office AA. Ngurah Agung Satria Tenaya welcomed the proposed collaboration, noting that ASITA Bali has expressed readiness to act as a mentor for tourism villages in the regency.
“I would like to thank ASITA Bali for their willingness to become a ‘foster partner’ for tourism villages in Tabanan, helping them grow and progress more rapidly. In line with the Regent’s direction, we aim to see the number of tourism villages continue to increase each day,” he said.
Support also came from Jatiluwih DTW Operational Manager I Ketut Jhon Purna, who emphasized the importance of accelerating digital transformation, particularly in tourism villages within the Jatiluwih area.
“I fully support the digitalization of tourism villages in Jatiluwih. We are developing an AI-based system, and we hope it can be implemented throughout Tabanan with the support of the Tourism Office and the Regent,” he explained.
Through this collaboration, stakeholders expect that the strengthening of tourism villages, international promotion through BBTF, and destination digitalization will further solidify Tabanan’s position as one of Bali’s leading tourism regions.
