BALINEWS.ID, NUSA DUA — Bali Interfood 2026 officially opened at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Nusa Dua, Bali, on Wednesday (Sept. 2, 2026), bringing together players from the food and beverage (F&B), hospitality, bakery, coffee, wine and spirits, technology, and business solutions sectors.

Entering its seventh edition, the international exhibition, organized by Krista Exhibitions Group, will run from September 2 to 4, 2026. The event is expected to attract 15,000 visitors over the three-day exhibition.

A total of 110 exhibitors from eight countries are participating, including 35 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The exhibition serves as a strategic meeting point for producers, distributors, importers, buyers, HORECA businesses, retailers, restaurant and café owners, and investors.

CEO of Krista Exhibitions Group, Daud D. Salim, said Bali holds a strategic position in the development of Indonesia’s F&B industry, driven by continued growth in tourism, hotels, restaurants, cafés, and culinary businesses.

“Bali is not only a tourism destination but also one of Indonesia’s major growth centers for the hospitality and culinary industries,” Daud said.

He said Bali Interfood was designed as a platform to connect industry needs with innovation and business opportunities while providing greater opportunities for local businesses and MSMEs to expand and connect with wider markets.

“This is not only about showcasing products, but also about creating opportunities to meet the people behind the industry — buyers, suppliers, chefs, purchasing professionals, distributors, associations, and hospitality professionals,” Daud said.

This year, Bali Interfood is being held alongside Bali Hotel & Tourism, Bali Coffee Expo, Bali Wine & Spirit, and Bakery Indonesia Expo 2026. The collaboration creates a broader industry ecosystem covering food and beverage ingredients, bakery and pastry products, coffee, wine and spirits, processing equipment, HORECA services, catering, packaging, technology, and business solutions.

In addition to product exhibitions, the event features business matching sessions, networking programs, competitions, workshops, and educational activities designed to strengthen business connections and encourage new transactions.

One of the main highlights is the Gelato World Cup Indonesian Selection, which will be held throughout the three-day exhibition. Visitors can watch the competition and participate in workshops featuring professional gelato techniques and creativity.

The program includes the Gelato Workshop Coconut Mango Dessert, Mixologist Workshop Morello Cherry Gelato, Gelato Competition, Gelato Workshop Sorbet Lollies, and Mixologist Workshop Blood Orange Sorbet.

The exhibition also features culinary and beverage sessions involving chefs and industry professionals, including Cinnamon Roll with Chef Fajri Winarno, Dimsum Keju Lumer & Ghyong Chilli Oil with Chef Lucky R. Katili, Bali Beans Manual Brew Class with Barista I Made Galih Kresnadana, and demonstrations of Black Pepper Fried Noodles and Olive Vegetable Fried Kwetiau with Chef Ugay.

For wine enthusiasts and industry professionals, Bali Interfood 2026 presents a series of Wine Pairings, including Wine & Coffee Sensory with Bali Beans Coffee, Wine & Chocolate Pairing with Mason Chocolates Bali, and the Plant-Based Perfection: A Green Rebel Wine Pairing Workshop.

Meanwhile, the IPBI Competition Area features a range of competitions and workshops, including a Fruit Carving Competition, Table Setting Into the Sea Competition, and Flower Table Decoration Workshop.

Sustainability is also highlighted through an educational panel discussion titled “Rethinking Food Waste: How Hospitality Can Do It Better,” presented by the Business & Community Manager of the Bali Restaurant Café Association (BRCA).

The business side of the exhibition is strengthened through the Business Matching Room, which connects Hotel, Restaurant, Café, and Bakery (Ho.Re.Ca.Ba) businesses with suppliers and exhibitors.

The business program includes “Ngopi Darat with Purchasing & Supplier Ho.Re.Ca.Ba Bali,” Coffee Morning with APKRINDO & APRINDO Bali, Afternoon Tea with IKABOGA & PHRI Bali, and Meetup with Bali Restaurant Café Associations.

These meetings provide purchasing and procurement representatives with opportunities to identify new product sources, compare business solutions, establish supplier networks, and explore potential partnerships beyond the exhibition.

Bali Interfood 2026 is also focusing on human resource development through the Krista Training Center by IKABOGA. The program involves the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) and covers professional certification in areas including Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, Baker, Commis Pastry, and RCC certification renewal.

The organizers said strengthening the F&B and hospitality industries requires not only product and technological innovation but also improvements in workforce competency and greater awareness of emerging industry challenges.

With its combination of exhibitions, business matching, competitions, training, and networking programs, Bali Interfood 2026 aims to serve as a meeting point for producers, distributors, hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, buyers, investors, culinary professionals, and technology providers.
