This assurance comes as the office adjusts its employee work system without disrupting service operations. All immigration services at the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office continue to run normally, including passport applications and renewals, as well as residence permit extensions.
In addition, immigration checks at the Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport are confirmed to operate fully 24 hours a day. This measure is aimed at maintaining the smooth flow of arrivals and departures to and from Bali.
Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Bugie Kurniawan, emphasized that the implementation of WFA will not weaken supervisory or law enforcement functions.

“We are not only focused on public services, but we also ensure that security and law enforcement functions remain fully enforced. Monitoring of the activities and presence of foreign nationals continues routinely in our working areas, namely Kuta, North Kuta, and South Kuta,” he stated.
He added that the WFA policy is implemented in a balanced manner between maintaining public services and ensuring regional security and order.
Meanwhile, Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Felucia Sengky Ratna, stressed that the work adjustment policy has gone through careful risk mitigation to ensure it does not hinder public interests or national security.
“We have instructed all personnel to ensure that the WFA system does not become a barrier in providing quick responses to public needs. Bali, as a global tourism showcase, demands continuous readiness,” Felucia asserted.
She also highlighted that while digital services are being strengthened, the physical presence of officers remains prioritized at crucial points, particularly at immigration checkpoints.
Furthermore, Felucia noted that both administrative and field supervision continue to operate in an integrated manner through the immigration information system.
“The integrity and professionalism of our personnel remain the key benchmarks, whether working from the office or other locations. Our monitoring system continues to operate fully through data integration and intensive field supervision,” she concluded.
For information, the WFA policy is implemented on March 16–17 and March 25–27, 2026. Ngurah Rai Immigration reaffirmed its commitment to delivering the best services to the public while maintaining strong supervision and law enforcement.
