Mambal Culture Festival 2026 Showcases Creativity of Nine Youth Groups Despite Rain

BALINEWSID.COM, BADUNG – The Mambal Culture Festival 2026 was successfully held despite being briefly interrupted by rain, showcasing the creativity of nine Seka Truna (youth community groups) from Mambal Village. The festival served as a platform to promote local culture while strengthening community unity through various cultural activities.

The two-day festival, held on March 14–15, 2026, featured a series of events including a mini ogoh-ogoh competition, an MSME exhibition, a cultural talk show, and a highlight event—an Ogoh-Ogoh Parade presenting artistic creations from nine Seka Truna groups across Mambal Village.

The event was attended by the Regent of Badung and his spouse, members of Commission III of the Badung Regional House of Representatives, representatives from the Badung Culture Office and Social Affairs Office, the Badung branch of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI), the Badung Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), the Abiansemal Sub-district Head, the Village Head of Mambal along with village officials, as well as traditional village leaders.

Chairman of the Mambal Culture Festival 2026 organizing committee, Kadek Didin Arya Pradita, expressed gratitude for the strong enthusiasm shown by the community and all parties involved in making the festival a success. He said the rain did not dampen the spirit of the participants.

“Although it rained briefly, it did not reduce the enthusiasm of the Seka Truna members and the community involved. Instead, it proved how strong the younger generation’s love for culture is. We are grateful that the entire series of events ran smoothly and received extraordinary support from the community and many stakeholders,” Didin said.

He noted that the festival’s success was the result of cooperation and mutual support from various parties, especially the active participation of Seka Truna groups from the Mambal Traditional Village who showcased their best creativity.

“We highly appreciate all parties who supported the implementation of this festival, especially the Seka Truna groups across Mambal Traditional Village who demonstrated creativity, spirit, and commitment in preserving culture. We hope this event will continue to become a space for the younger generation to create while strengthening the cultural identity of Mambal Village,” Darmawan said.

Through the Mambal Culture Festival, the cultural potential and creativity of Mambal’s young generation are expected to continue developing and play an important role in preserving local traditions while supporting community-based tourism in the area.
