Bali Tourism Run 2026 to Gather 2,000 Runners in Jatiluwih for Bali Tourism’s Road to 100 Years

BALINEWSID.COM, TABANAN – The Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) Bali will host the Bali Tourism Run 2026 on June 21, 2026, at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jatiluwih in Tabanan, as part of celebrations marking the journey toward 100 Years of Bali Tourism.

Carrying the theme “The Journey Begins From Jatiluwih,” the event is designed not only as a sporting activity but also as a platform to promote sustainable tourism through the integration of sports tourism, environmental preservation, and community empowerment.

Organizers are targeting 2,000 participants for the 5K Fun Run, offering runners the opportunity to experience Jatiluwih’s world-famous terraced rice fields, pristine natural landscapes, and cool mountain air.

According to the Bali Tourism Run 2026 organizing committee, the event aims to bring together local communities, tourism stakeholders, sports enthusiasts, and visitors in celebrating the long history of Bali’s tourism industry, which has become one of the world’s leading travel destinations.

“Bali Tourism Run is more than just a running event. It is a celebration of togetherness, health, and gratitude for the remarkable journey of Bali’s tourism industry, which has supported the livelihoods of millions of people. We want to create a unique running experience amid the stunning landscape of Jatiluwih, a symbol of harmony between people, nature, and Balinese culture,” the committee chair said.

With a registration fee of Rp300,000, participants will receive a range of benefits, including a Rp25,000 voucher that can be redeemed at local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) participating in the event.

All runners will also have the chance to win a variety of door prizes, with major prizes including:

  • One Yamaha NMAX motorcycle
  • One Honda Beat motorcycle
  • One Smart TV
  • One two-door refrigerator
  • One washing machine
  • One smartphone
  • Ovens, rice cookers, electric fans, and other electronic appliances

The organizing committee has invited running communities, tourism industry players, sports enthusiasts, and the general public to take part in the event and become part of Bali’s historic journey toward a century of tourism development.
