Bali Police Deploy 1,055 Personnel for 2026 Patuh Agung Traffic Operation

BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR — Bali Regional Police and police departments across the island have launched the 2026 Patuh Agung Operation, a 14-day traffic enforcement campaign running from October 26 to November 8, 2026. A total of 1,055 personnel have been deployed to improve compliance with traffic regulations and reduce road accidents and fatalities.

Bali Police Traffic Directorate Chief Commissioner Yong Ferrydjon, S.I.K., M.H., who serves as the operation’s regional commander, announced the campaign during a media briefing on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Of the 1,055 personnel involved, 262 are from Bali Regional Police, while the remaining 793 are assigned to police departments across the island.

The operation is also supported by several related agencies, including the Udayana IX Military Police Command (Pomdam IX/Udayana), the Bali Provincial Transportation Agency, and Jasa Raharja, a state-owned company providing traffic accident insurance services.

“This operation is also supported by relevant stakeholders. Their cooperation is expected to help ensure that the campaign achieves its objective of creating orderly, safe, and safer traffic conditions,” Yong said.

This year’s operation carries the theme “Police Together with the Community,” highlighting the police force’s commitment to working alongside the public to improve traffic security, safety, order, and smooth traffic flow.

Through the campaign, Bali Police and its regional units aim to strengthen public awareness and discipline in complying with traffic regulations while encouraging a road safety culture that prioritizes the well-being of all road users.

Yong urged the public to actively support the operation by obeying traffic laws and practicing responsible driving behavior.

“Let us work together to support the 2026 Patuh Agung Operation by complying with traffic regulations. Through the awareness and discipline of all road users, we can build a traffic culture in Bali that is more orderly, safe, and focused on road safety,” he said.
