UBUD, BALINEWS.ID – The Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) Bali held an audience with the management of Mandala Suci Wenara Wana on Tuesday (April 14). The meeting discussed various inputs from tourism industry players regarding destination management, while also strengthening synergy between travel agencies and the management of one of Ubud’s leading tourist attractions.

The Deputy Head of Destination Affairs of ASITA Bali, I Wayan Subratha, stated that the audience went positively and resulted in several important agreements.

“We held an audience with the Monkey Forest management and were received directly by the General Manager and the team. The issues we have raised regarding the destination have now been addressed. The management was very welcoming to our proposals, and all of them were well accepted,” he said.

He added that the communication established is expected to continue improving in the future, not only with Monkey Forest but also with other destinations in Bali. This is considered important to create more optimal tourism services for visitors.

Meanwhile, the General Manager of Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, A.A. Bagus Bhaskara, welcomed the meeting and expressed openness to broader collaboration.

“We had the opportunity to meet with the ASITA Bali board and received a lot of additional information,” he said.

He hopes that the synergy between ASITA Bali and Monkey Forest Ubud will improve service quality for the benefit of Bali’s tourism.

“Going forward, we will immediately initiate collaboration to strengthen synergy between Monkey Forest and ASITA Bali for the good of Bali tourism,” he added.

This audience is expected to be an initial step in strengthening cooperation between destination managers and tourism industry stakeholders. (*)
