Bali Immigration Prepares Concrete Measures to Tackle Violations by Foreign Nationals, Tightens Oversight

BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR – The Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration in Bali is preparing a series of concrete measures in response to the rising number of violations involving foreign nationals across the island.

Head of the Bali Regional Office, Felucia Sengky Ratna, said the program is scheduled to be implemented starting April 10, 2026. She added that the office will officially inform the media about the planned measures prior to their implementation.

“Three days before the launch, we will notify our media colleagues regarding the steps we will take. What is certain is that the program has already been prepared,” Felucia said.

In addition, Bali Immigration has intensified supervision across all immigration offices in regencies and cities throughout the province. The reinforcement includes extending the working hours of monitoring officers to anticipate a potential increase in cases involving foreign nationals.

Felucia explained that all immigration personnel are now involved in early detection efforts. Their duties include collecting preliminary data and information, as well as identifying potential vulnerabilities that could affect regional security.

“All immigration personnel are conducting early detection, gathering initial data, and mapping potential risks related to the presence of foreign nationals in Bali Province,” she said.

The measures reflect Immigration’s commitment to maintaining security and public order amid the growing presence and activities of foreign nationals in Bali.
