13 New Lawyers Sworn In as DPD PERADI PASNI Strengthens Legal Profession in Bali

BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR – The Regional Leadership Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association (DPD PERADI PASNI) officially added 13 new advocates following the oath-taking ceremony held at the Denpasar High Court on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

The solemn ceremony began at 7:30 a.m. Central Indonesian Time and was led directly by the leadership of the Denpasar High Court. The 13 prospective advocates took their professional oath before the panel of judges as a commitment to uphold the Advocate Code of Ethics, the Advocate Law, and the values of justice and humanity.

The fourth batch of advocate appointments marked an important milestone for DPD PERADI PASNI in strengthening the role of legal professionals in Bali. The addition of 13 new advocates is expected to expand public access to professional, ethical, and justice-oriented legal assistance.

Chairman of DPD PERADI PASNI, Kornelis Ratu, S.H., C.Med., C.PT., congratulated the newly sworn advocates and reminded them that the oath represents the beginning of a greater responsibility.

“This oath is not the end, but the beginning of a service. Become advocates who are not only intelligent and professional in the legal field, but also have conscience, integrity, and a commitment to stand with people seeking justice,” Kornelis Ratu said.

DPD PERADI PASNI regularly conducts advocate oath ceremonies every month as part of its commitment to producing qualified legal professionals and strengthening the rule of law in Bali.

The ceremony proceeded solemnly and smoothly. Through the appointment of these new advocates, DPD PERADI PASNI expressed optimism in continuing to build cooperation with judicial institutions, law enforcement agencies, and the community to promote fair and accountable law enforcement.
