BNEWSID — An American tourist, identified as KB (29), was evacuated from a villa in Ketewel, Gianyar, Bali, on Sunday (September 21, 2025). She was reportedly suffering from depression linked to financial and relationship problems, and was said to have frequent outbursts that worried both her parents and the villa staff.

The incident began when KB checked in with her parents at Ketewel Beach Villas and Spa on Friday (September 19, 2025). According to a villa staff member, Sonya W, KB often displayed sudden aggressive behavior without any clear reason. This condition left her parents, RAK and KAD, deeply concerned for their daughter’s safety.

Fearing she might harm herself or others, KB’s parents contacted Sukawati Police for assistance. “The family requested help to secure and take their daughter to the hospital,” explained Ipda Widiana.

Responding to the report, a police team led by Ipda I Nengah Widiana and Aiptu Pande Km Wiranjaya quickly arrived at the scene. With their assistance, along with support from the family and villa staff, KB was successfully calmed down. To prevent further incidents during transport, they decided to use an online taxi to take her to Bali International Hospital in Sanur for medical treatment.

As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or material losses. The family expressed their gratitude to the police for their swift response and said they hope KB will recover soon. (*)
