BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR — Six key issues were identified during a monitoring and evaluation meeting on public services at the Sewakadarma Public Service Mall (MPP) in Denpasar, Bali, on Wednesday (Sept. 23, 2026).
The meeting, held at the Sewaka Kerthaloka Meeting Room on the first floor of the Denpasar Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), brought together representatives of government agencies providing services at the MPP.
The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Denpasar was represented at the meeting by staff member Putu Wahyu Ananta Dharma.
The meeting was led by an official from the Denpasar municipal administration and focused on monitoring and evaluating public services, as well as coordination concerning the types of services and cooperation agreements between agencies operating at the Sewakadarma MPP.
During the meeting, representatives from various agencies presented the services they currently provide. Agencies with new services were also asked to update their service data to ensure that information available to the public remains accurate and up to date.
The discussion identified six issues requiring follow-up.
The first concerned the attendance and discipline of service-counter officers at the Sewakadarma MPP. The issue was raised as part of efforts to ensure that officers are available during service hours and that public services run as scheduled.
The second issue involved an evaluation of the types of services provided by each agency at the MPP. Agencies were asked to review their respective services, including services that may no longer be available.
The third concerned the completion of the Public Satisfaction Survey (SKM), which is used as one of the instruments for evaluating the quality of public services at the MPP.
The fourth issue was the instability of the internet connection at the facility. An unreliable connection can disrupt online services, particularly licensing and other administrative processes that depend on internet access.
The fifth issue involved ongoing renovations and changes to the MPP’s entrance. The changes have reportedly caused confusion among some visitors and applicants seeking public services.
The sixth issue concerned the mobile driver’s license service, or SIM Keliling. During the meeting, participants noted that information posted on social media sometimes did not correspond with the actual service schedule or conditions on the ground.
In addition to the six main issues, several agencies raised concerns about facilities and infrastructure, as well as service information that was no longer applicable but remained listed as available at the MPP.
The issues raised during the meeting will be followed up through coordination with the relevant agencies.
Municipal officials said the coordination would be aimed at improving facilities, updating service information and strengthening the overall delivery of public services at the Sewakadarma Public Service Mall.
The evaluation is expected to help ensure that services provided at the MPP remain accurate, accessible and responsive to the needs of residents in Denpasar.
