Prosecutor’s Office Brings Public Services Closer to the Community at Bali Public Service Bazaar 2026

BALINEWSID.COM, BADUNG – The Bali High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejaksaan Tinggi Bali) officially launched the 2026 Public Service Bazaar at the Tsunami Center Parking Area, Kuta Art Market, Badung, on Saturday (July 4, 2026), providing free integrated public services to thousands of residents and tourists.

Carrying the theme “Bringing Public Services Closer to the Community,” the event began with a beach clean-up campaign and the release of baby sea turtles (tukik), attended by Bali High Prosecutor Setiawan Budi Cahyono, senior officials from the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office, the Badung District Prosecutor’s Office, members of the Provincial and Badung Regency Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), and local residents.

In his opening remarks, Bali High Prosecutor Setiawan Budi Cahyono emphasized that the Public Service Bazaar reflects the government’s commitment to serving the public beyond its traditional law enforcement role.

“The Prosecutor’s Office is here to serve the public, not only by enforcing the law but also by providing fast, accessible, and high-quality legal solutions for residents and tourists. All services are offered free of charge and with full transparency,” he said.

He noted that the initiative aims to make legal assistance and various government services more accessible while strengthening public trust in state institutions.

Bali Governor Wayan Koster, who attended the event, praised the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office for organizing the integrated public service program. He stressed that excellent public services play a crucial role in maintaining Bali’s reputation as a world-class tourism destination.

“Fast, friendly, and transparent public services are essential to maintaining tourists’ confidence and supporting high-quality tourism in Bali,” Governor Koster said.

Throughout the event, visitors were able to access a wide range of free public services, including legal consultations, civil registration and population administration, licensing assistance, health services, banking services, immigration services, police services, as well as the collection of confiscated evidence and traffic fine payments.

Thousands of residents and tourists enthusiastically took advantage of the one-stop integrated services, creating a lively atmosphere at the venue.

The 2026 Public Service Bazaar also strengthened cooperation among government institutions while bringing essential public services closer to the community. The event underscored the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office’s commitment to delivering responsive, transparent, and citizen-centered services, demonstrating that the institution’s role extends beyond law enforcement to providing practical solutions that directly benefit the public.
