BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR — The Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Advocates Association of Struggle (DPP PERADI PASNI) held an official meeting with Denpasar High Court Chief Justice Dr. Ifa Sudewi, S.H., M.Hum., at the Denpasar High Court building in Renon, Denpasar, on Friday (Sept. 25, 2026).

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the advocates’ organization and the judiciary, including efforts to improve court services, legal processes and coordination in serving people seeking justice in Bali.

The PERADI PASNI delegation was led by its Chairman, Kornelis Ratu, S.H., C.Med., C.PT., along with members of the organization’s leadership. They were received by Ifa Sudewi and officials from the Denpasar High Court.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of strategic issues related to law enforcement, the quality of judicial services and coordination between legal practitioners and the judiciary.

Kornelis Ratu said effective communication between advocates and the judiciary was important to support professional and efficient judicial proceedings.

He said institutional dialogue also provided an opportunity for advocates to convey input and seek solutions to issues arising in legal practice.

Meanwhile, Ifa Sudewi welcomed the PERADI PASNI delegation and expressed the Denpasar High Court’s commitment to maintaining constructive cooperation with the advocates’ organization.

She also expressed hope that PERADI PASNI would continue to develop as a professional advocates’ organization by upholding quality, integrity and professional codes of ethics among both practicing and prospective advocates.

The meeting also discussed plans for cooperation through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the role of non-judge mediators.

Another proposed MoU would cover legal and advocacy services in cooperation with the Bali Traditional Village Council (Majelis Desa Adat/MDA Bali). The planned cooperation is intended to strengthen legal services through collaboration between relevant institutions.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of souvenirs and a joint photo session involving representatives of PERADI PASNI and the Denpasar High Court.

The meeting was part of efforts to strengthen communication and coordination between the advocates’ organization and the judiciary in support of professionalism and the administration of justice in Bali.
