BALINEWSID.COM, TABANAN — Nuanu Creative City has introduced Nuanu Park, a 1.6-hectare public park that will serve as the main pedestrian gateway to the creative district ahead of its official launch scheduled for this summer.
The exclusive media preview offered journalists an early look at the development of Nuanu Park, which is designed as a public entrance connecting visitors to the broader Nuanu ecosystem through a blend of nature, art, education, recreation, and family-friendly experiences within an integrated landscape.
Once officially opened, the park will host a wide range of public activities, including masterclasses, children’s programs, outdoor experiences, pet-friendly areas, and community-based events.
During the preview session, journalists were taken through several key areas of the park, including the main public entrance, amphitheater, open garden spaces, playground, Botanical Garden, Kids Academy, ropes course and zipline area, Nuanu Art Village, connecting bridge, and various surrounding public spaces.
One of the highlights of the preview was the unveiling of Nuanu Park’s official gate, designed as both a cultural landmark and a living gateway to Nuanu Creative City. The structure was developed in collaboration with Balinese artists, architects, sculptors, cultural advisors, and local stakeholders.
The gate combines Balinese architectural principles, traditional craftsmanship, and contemporary multimedia technology, including media installations and projection mapping. Centered around the symbolism of Athena and Saraswati, the design represents knowledge, creativity, and the connection between tradition and innovation, nature and technology, as well as Bali’s local identity within a broader global dialogue.
Lev Kroll, CEO of Nuanu Creative City, said Nuanu Park marks an important step in making Nuanu more open and accessible to the public.
“As Nuanu’s ecosystem continues to grow, we want the first experience of entering Nuanu to feel more open, accessible, and connected to everyday life,” Lev Kroll said.
He added that the development of public infrastructure such as Nuanu Park is just as important as large-scale cultural and hospitality projects because it creates spaces where communities can continuously return and feel connected to Nuanu.
The exclusive preview also gave journalists insight into how the park will operate once fully opened to the public, including visitor flow, family experiences, public programs, and future cultural activations.
Following its official opening later this year, Nuanu Park is expected to play a major role in strengthening public interaction with Nuanu Creative City while reinforcing the destination’s vision of uniting culture, creativity, nature, and community within one integrated ecosystem.
