BALINEWSID.COM, BADUNG – A fatal assault involving a foreign national from the Netherlands occurred at Villa Amira No.1, Banjar Anyar Kelod, Kerobokan, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, on Monday (March 23, 2026) night.

The victim was identified by the initials RP (49), who resided at Villa Amira No.3 within the same complex. He died after sustaining multiple serious stab wounds across his body.

The violent incident took place at approximately 10:50 PM local time (WITA). According to witness statements, prior to the attack, the victim had gone out with his girlfriend. Upon arriving in front of Villa Amira No.1, they noticed two men riding a black automatic motorcycle behaving suspiciously.

One of the perpetrators was reportedly wearing a black ride-hailing (ojek online) jacket, a black helmet, and a blue mask, while the other was dressed in an orange T-shirt without a helmet. The two men briefly turned back before launching an attack on the victim using a sharp weapon.

The victim had asked a witness to lock the villa, but shortly afterward the suspects carried out the assault. The witness, who was also chased by the attackers, fled toward another villa that was unlit.

Based on the witness account, the perpetrators briefly entered the victim’s villa searching for the witness, but later exited and continued stabbing the victim, who was already severely injured at the time.

After the attackers fled the scene, the witness approached the victim, who was covered in blood, and called for help. The villa owner subsequently contacted an ambulance, which transported the victim to BIMC Hospital.
