Bali Police Step Up Security for 40th Stop TB Partnership Board Meeting

BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR – The Bali Regional Police (Polda Bali) are stepping up security preparations for the 40th Stop TB Partnership Board Meeting, an international event scheduled to take place from November 3 to 6, 2026, at the InterContinental Bali Sanur Resort and Bali Sunset Road Convention Centre.

As part of the preparations, Polda Bali held a security readiness assembly for Operation Gapura Agung VII-2026 at the police headquarters in Denpasar on Monday morning (November 2, 2026).

The assembly was led by Polda Bali’s Head of Operations Bureau, Senior Commissioner Soelistjono, S.I.K., and attended by all police personnel assigned to the operation.

The personnel are organized into several task forces, including preventive security, pre-emptive measures, traffic management, tactical response, law enforcement, public relations, and operational support.

In his briefing, Soelistjono said the assembly served as a final assessment of personnel readiness, operational equipment, facilities, and field procedures ahead of the security operation.

He emphasized that the international event had received special attention from police leadership, as it would bring together delegates from various countries to discuss global health issues.

“This operation is aimed at securing an international event that has been given special attention by police leadership. We will be providing security for delegates from various countries who will be discussing global health issues. Therefore, security measures must be carried out to the highest standards, professionally and with a human-centered approach,” he said.

Soelistjono also instructed all personnel to fully understand their respective duties and responsibilities while maintaining close coordination and cooperation among relevant agencies.
