BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR – The Indonesian National Police’s Division of Professional and Security Affairs (Divpropam), together with the Bali Regional Police’s Professional and Security Affairs Division (Bidpropam), conducted a disciplinary inspection of personnel at the Bali Regional Police Headquarters on Monday (November 2, 2026).

The inspection aimed to ensure that police personnel maintain discipline and comply with institutional regulations, including avoiding involvement in online gambling and drug abuse.

During the operation, officers carried out several checks, covering personnel appearance and grooming, individual administrative documents, and mobile phone inspections.

The mobile phone checks were conducted as a preventive measure to identify any potential involvement of police personnel in online gambling activities. Officers also administered urine tests to detect possible drug abuse within the police force.

According to the inspection results, all personnel who underwent urine testing tested negative for illegal drugs.

The disciplinary inspection, known as Gaktibplin, forms part of the Indonesian National Police’s efforts to strengthen internal supervision and oversight. It is also intended to ensure that all officers perform their duties in accordance with the Police Professional Code of Ethics and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Through the initiative, all Bali Regional Police personnel are expected to further strengthen their discipline, integrity, and sense of responsibility in carrying out their duties.

The Bali Regional Police reaffirmed its commitment to continuously strengthening internal oversight and fostering a culture of discipline within the institution. These efforts are aimed at maintaining police professionalism and safeguarding public trust in the Indonesian National Police.
