BALINEWSID.COM, JAKARTA — More than 300 employees of Indonesia’s Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) took part in a blood donation drive as part of HANTARU Peduli, a social initiative held to commemorate the 66th National Agrarian and Spatial Planning Day (HANTARU) in 2026.

The blood donation event was held at the Prona Hall of the ATR/BPN Ministry in Jakarta on Tuesday (Sept. 29, 2026), with employees participating voluntarily as a demonstration of their concern for people in need.

Head of the ATR/BPN Planning and Cooperation Bureau Bahrun Munawir said the initiative provided an opportunity for ministry employees to contribute directly to the community.

“Through HANTARU Peduli, we want to share and give our colleagues at ATR/BPN an opportunity to show their concern. By donating blood, we can provide benefits to people who need it,” Bahrun said while opening the event.

More than 300 employees from various levels and positions participated in the blood drive. The donors included senior and middle-ranking officials as well as security and cleaning personnel.

The broad participation reflected the involvement of ATR/BPN employees in social activities held as part of the ministry’s HANTARU 2026 commemorations.

Head of the ATR/BPN Public Relations and Protocol Bureau Uunk Din Parunggi also donated blood. He described blood donation as a humanitarian activity that could provide direct benefits to others.

“Blood donation is a humanitarian activity. It is very beneficial. In other words, even a drop of our blood can be very beneficial to another person,” Uunk said.

Secretary of the Directorate General of Land Dispute and Conflict Resolution Lalu Harisandi also participated in the event. He said blood donation could benefit both recipients and donors.

“It is also beneficial for our own health, because we are encouraged to donate blood at least once a year,” he said.

Blood Drive Held in Partnership with Indonesian Red Cross

HANTARU Peduli was organized in cooperation with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in South Tangerang.

In addition to the blood donation drive, the event also provided free eye examinations for participants.

The social initiative was part of the series of activities organized by ATR/BPN to commemorate the 66th National Agrarian and Spatial Planning Day.

Through the involvement of employees from different levels and positions, the ministry said the initiative was intended to strengthen social awareness within ATR/BPN while providing practical assistance to people who need blood donations.
