BALINEWSID.COM, DENPASAR – The Denpasar City National Narcotics Agency (BNN Denpasar) is strengthening efforts to prevent drug abuse and illicit drug trafficking through its ANANDA BERSINAR campaign, which promotes early drug prevention starting with children and families.

ANANDA BERSINAR stands for Aksi Nasional Anti Narkoba Dimulai Dari Anak Bersih Narkoba, or the National Anti-Drug Movement Starts with Drug-Free Children.

As part of the campaign, BNN Denpasar has installed billboards at several strategic locations across the city, including Jalan Melati No. 21 and the Jalan Bypass I Gusti Ngurah Rai area near the mangrove forest.

The billboards are intended to reach a broad section of the public, particularly motorists and other road users passing through the areas.

Through ANANDA BERSINAR, BNN Denpasar is encouraging families and communities to make drug prevention part of everyday life, starting with children. Early education is considered important in building awareness, knowledge and the confidence of young people to stay away from drug abuse.

The agency is also calling on the wider community to take an active role in preventing drug abuse and illicit trafficking.

“Drug prevention starts with our shared concern. Through ANANDA BERSINAR, let us protect children and the younger generation from the dangers of drugs,” the campaign message states.

In addition to its public awareness campaign, BNN Denpasar is also scheduled to conduct a Life Skills Technical Guidance Program for Communities in Drug-Prone Areas, focusing on culinary skills.

The three-day program is scheduled to take place from October 20 to 22, 2026, starting at 8:30 a.m. Central Indonesian Time (WITA) until completion. The event will be held at the Sumerta Klod Village Head Office in Denpasar.

Luh Ketut Alit Andriyani of PT Aromakue Investaniaga has been invited to serve as a resource person for the culinary training.

According to the official invitation, the program is based on Indonesia’s Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics, Presidential Regulation No. 47 of 2019, and BNN Regulation No. 1 of 2024 concerning the organizational structure and working procedures of BNN offices at the provincial and city/regency levels.

The program is part of BNN Denpasar’s broader prevention and community empowerment efforts, targeting communities in areas identified as vulnerable to drug-related problems.

Through ANANDA BERSINAR and community-based programs, BNN Denpasar is urging residents to participate in efforts to create a safer, healthier and drug-free environment.

The agency emphasizes that protecting children from drug abuse is a shared responsibility involving families, communities and government institutions.
