JAKARTA, BALINEWSID.COM – Gibran Rakabuming Raka received a delegation from Prajaniti Hindu Indonesia at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday (May 11, 2026), where both sides discussed a range of strategic initiatives, including Hindu community empowerment, development projects in Nusantara Capital City (IKN), and preparations for an upcoming international business conference in Bali.

During the meeting, Prajaniti Chairman KS Arsana explained that Prajaniti is a socio-community organization engaged in economic development, education, humanitarian programs, and political leadership training.

“If compared with other mass organizations in Indonesia, Prajaniti plays a role similar to Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah,” Arsana said during the audience.

He also informed the Vice President that Prajaniti, together with several Hindu organizations, will host the “Global Hindu Business Conference” (GHBC) at Universitas Hindu Indonesia in Denpasar from July 10–12, 2026. The international forum is expected to attract around 400 participants from various countries.

In addition to the business conference, the event will also feature the launch of a book titled Dharmanomics: Membangun Kesejahteraan Bersama Berlandaskan Dharma.

“We sincerely hope the Vice President can attend, officially open the conference, and serve as the Honorable Keynote Speaker,” Arsana said.

Responding to the invitation, Vice President Gibran stated that he would try to attend while adjusting to his state agenda and official schedule.

During the discussion, Arsana also presented a proposal to develop an Inclusive School Based on Nature, Nationalism, and Dharma Spirituality in the IKN Nusantara area. The project is expected to become a center for education rooted in national values and Hindu spirituality.

According to Prajaniti, Vice President Gibran welcomed the initiative and said he would coordinate with the Nusantara Capital Authority regarding the plan.

Meanwhile, GHBC Steering Committee member I Nyoman Gde Agus Asrama said the conference is also aimed at encouraging Hindu entrepreneurs from around the world to invest in Indonesia, particularly in Bali.

In response, Gibran revealed that the government is currently discussing plans to position Bali as a new international financial center in Asia.

“We are continuously discussing plans to make Bali a new international financial center in Asia. The concept is similar to Dubai. We chose Bali because the facilities and infrastructure are already available,” Gibran said.
