BALINEWSID.COM, BADUNG — In commemoration of the Holy Month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah and to strengthen ties of friendship and solidarity, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel (DKPH) organized a special Iftar gathering in collaboration with Yayasan Baitul Jannah and invited media partners across Bali Province. The event took place on Thursday (February 26) at The Pond Restaurant.

Held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere in Badung, Bali, the event reflected DKPH management’s genuine commitment to social responsibility and fostering harmonious relationships with the community and media partners. On this occasion, DKPH invited 25 orphans from Yayasan Baitul Jannah Kuta to share in the joy and blessings of Ramadan together.

The program commenced with opening remarks from the hotel management, highlighting the importance of empathy and social solidarity. A touching moment followed as gift packages were symbolically presented to the children. The occasion served as a reminder that true happiness is found in sharing and caring for others.

The spiritual session further enriched the evening. Ustadz Imam Suyuti delivered a heartfelt sermon emphasizing the essence of Ramadan as a month of self-purification, strengthening brotherhood (ukhuwah), and cultivating gratitude through meaningful acts of kindness. His message was received attentively by all guests in attendance.

As Maghrib approached, invited guests and the children eagerly awaited the call to prayer together in a spirit of unity. After the adzan signaled the time to break the fast, a delightful selection of Iftar dishes prepared by the hotel’s culinary team was served. The warm gathering was complemented by soothing acoustic music, creating an intimate and family-like ambiance.
